What's the difference between timber, concrete, stone and block retaining walls, and which suits my property?
Timber suits smaller retaining walls but doesn't hold up as long as concrete or stone in wet, clay-heavy ground. Concrete sleeper and block walls handle taller walls and wetter sites better, and stone gives a different finished look again.
